Synopsis

Recent groundbreaking innovations in science have turned the justice system upside down, setting falsely imprisoned inmates free, and permanently locking the cell doors on others. Cases that have been closed for decades have been reopened, all because of three letters: DNA. DNA: GUILTY OR INNOCENT is the suspenseful and dramatic program that takes you inside the stories of five people whose fate hangs on a strand of DNA. Imprisoned before DNA testing was available, their cases are reopened, and it is learned once and for all if they are guilty or innocent.

Hosted by Daniel Benzali (Star of “Murder One”), we hear from the inmates, their families, the victims’ families, the detectives and attorneys as the stories dramatically unfold. It’s up to the audience to decide if they think the jury’s verdict was correct. And then finally, the moment of truth is captured as the results of the DNA tests are revealed to the inmates.
