Synopsis

They are the stuff nightmares are made of. In this one hour special, we organize the nightmare geographically, and experience first hand what happens when someone gets too close. Part nature special, part real drama, “The World’s Deadliest Reptiles” will inform and terrify the viewer by mixing astonishing real footage and scientific testimony with dramatic recreations and eyewitness accounts of an encounter with one of these deadly creatures.

The program is organized in five geographic sections. Australia (Salt Water Crocodile,) Africa (Nile Crocodile,) Asia (King Cobra, Komodo Dragon, Python,) North America (Florida Alligator, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Gila Monster) and South America (Boa Constrictor). Each section will contain a “cover story” documenting one person’s encounter with a reptile.

THE WORLD’S DEADLIEST REPTILES is designed to illuminate our viewer’s nightmares. We will transform them from what our viewers imagine might happen into the hard reality of what HAS happened – when man encounters the dark side of nature. It is crafted to be the last word on the subject of frightening reptiles. And that word is deadly.
