Twenty years after the sudden death of every adult in America, a newly orphaned teenager named Princess is escorted by a wandering gunslinger and a violent recluse across the apocalyptic wasteland. Princess has ambitious plans to rebuild the civilization that was lost before she was born, but the religion known as the New Church has their own machinations to control the world, and even Princess’s escorts have secrets of their own.
