AfterShock Media’s Rive Gauche has secured the rights to distribute the two-part documentary The Case Against Cosby around the world.

The documentary will offer exclusive access to the longtime survivors of the sexual assault accusations against Bill Cosby. It is based on survivor Andrea Constand’s memoir The Moment: Standing Up to Cosby, Speaking Up for Women and reveals the stories of those who have finally been able to raise their claims publicly against the TV legend.

The Case Against Cosby will feature several Cosby survivors, who detail his methodology—how he met them, groomed them and how their encounters took a turn through drugs. The documentary will also include interviews with legal experts and witnesses from both trials.

The Case Against Cosby is produced by Prospero Pictures in association with Rive Gauche.

Marine Ksadzhikyan, COO and executive VP of sales at Rive Gauche, said: “We’re incredibly proud to bring this documentary to the world to shed light on the truth of what these women and other women endure at the hands of sexual predators. It is essential to be a part of tough conversations that our society desperately needs to be having, exemplified through the power of celebrity being upheld over the safety of women, but also in non-celebrity cases every day.”

Producer Karen Wookey said: “Andrea Constand’s 15-year quest for justice is full of shockingly dramatic twists and turns. But it ultimately resulted in the incarceration of one of the world’s most famous and trusted entertainers, Bill Cosby.”
