Once the secret history of Las Vegas has been revealed, it will debunk the popular notion that the gambling capital of the world was conceived, constructed and corrupted by the Mob. The real history is more colorful than the gangster myth and, like the games of chance the city is built upon, less predictable.

The true founders of Las Vegas are ranchers, bootleggers, gamblers, bankers, playboys and Mormons - as well as gangsters and hoodlums of all types. Through personal anecdotes, rare footage and photographs, we'll meet many of these characters. We'll reveal that their efforts, aided by historical coincidence, shrewd business strategies and good fortunes, created one of the most unlikely cities ever built.
