Synopsis
The most popular nightclub in Hollywood, FORTY DEUCE, homage to New York's once heralded 42nd Street, features some of the finest burlesque performers in the world. The women are not strippers, but rather the most sought after professional dancers in Los Angeles, women who also choreograph videos and tour with top acts like Justin Timberlake. This new mini-series, executive produced and directed by Zalman King of "9 1/2 Weeks," "Wild Orchid," and "Red Shoe Diaries," is a day-in-the-life of the club's top dancers, as well as the story of the club owners, Ivan Kane and Champagne Suzy, who have just signed a deal to open up Forty Deuce Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
FORTY DEUCE will marry the most dramatic elements of non-fiction entertainment: six beautiful, ambitious dancers with colorful back-stories, two colorful club owners, and the stress of juggling Hollywood's hottest club with the design, building, casting, and choreographing of a star-studded Vegas debut. The series will culminate at the red carpet, Opening Night Gala bringing Hollywood and Las Vegas together at the new Forty Deuce Las Vegas. "Flashdance meets Moulin Rouge"
