Rive Gauche Television Promotes Tomas Silva To Vice President, International Sales Image

Rive Gauche Television has promoted Tomas Silva to Vice President, International Sales, it was announced by Jon Kramer, Chairman and CEO and David Auerbach President of Rive Gauche Television.

Silva joined Rive Gauche in 2008 as International Sales Executive, where he has headed the company’s successful distribution entry into Latin America.

“Tomas has played a pivotal role in furthering Rive Gauche as an important supplier of top programming in the region,” said Kramer. “Under his guidance, we have built strong relationships with major broadcasters and achieved impressive sales of our expansive catalog of reality and documentary programming across the all-important Latin American region.

Silva entered the television industry with Buenos Aires-based Dinter Television where he represented TV Globo (Brazil) for Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. He previously held senior-level sales positions with APA International Films and Unapix International. As a producer, Silva’s television productions include the Spanish soap opera, “El Magnate,” starring Andres Garcia, Salvador Pineda and Rudy Rodriguez. While at The Macias Group, he worked on the Latin American sitcom, “SKIMO,” which was co-produced with MTV Network Latin America.
