RGTV Announces International Sales For Doc Line-Up

LOS ANGELES – January 15, 2010 – Independent producer/distributor, Rive Gauche Television has secured key licensing deals with broadcasters in Europe and Asia for several documentaries, it was announced today by Dorothy Crompton, senior vice president of international sales.

Dino Lab I, a 2-hour family documentary that follows world-renowned paleontologists and technicians as they re-create dinosaurs using state-of-the-art technology and unique custom-built devices, has been acquired by Planete and Planete No Limit (France).

Dino Lab II, a 60-minute special, has been purchased by Discovery (Asia) and UBC (Thailand).

Faces of Earth, a four-part television event that tells the earth's story and how we are all influenced by its dynamic, forceful journey toward change, has been acquired by NTV (Germany), Discovery (Asia), and UBC (Thailand).

Great Warming, a ninety minute film narrated by Keanu Reeves and Alanis Morissette that looks at how a changing climate is affecting ordinary people everywhere, has been purchased by NTV (Germany), UBC (Thailand), and Origio (Hungary).

Life of Jesus has been licensed to TV4 Fakta (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway). A ten-hour special, Life of Jesus takes a balanced perspective of controversial material with respect to the views of Christians who believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible while allowing for an in-depth forensic analysis of the events.
